Two recent items have me pondering why anyone is a Democrat. Even though the media has done everything possible to extol the virtues of liberalism, or, more correctly, socialism, why are so many people fooled?
The following is a response from a friend when I asked him what he thought of Obama’s first year, “Bluntly put, most blacks and most registered Dems still think O is doing a great job. Unreal. I believe that, piece-by-piece over time, the progressives have changed our ‘framework’ so much this is what we get:
1. The big push for government assistance in lieu of a father in the house.
2. Keeping the vicious cycle of poverty going with welfare and ‘keeping the blacks dumb.’
3. Omitting our real American history from classroom curriculum.
4. Building up dependency on the government.”
Now, look at this and tell me Chris Matthews isn’t a racist: “You know, I was trying to think about who [Barack Obama] was tonight, and it’s interesting: He is post-racial by all appearances. You know, I forgot he was black tonight for an hour.” That’s MSNBC host Chris “thrill up my leg” Matthews, with a slobbering sycophantic (and genuinely racist) analysis of the SOTU.”
Garbage!
Too much attention is paid to color of skin as opposed to being the best you can be, no matter what. As far as I’m concerned, the Republican Party needs to invite blacks and other voting blocs to benefit from the GOP platform since 60 years of liberal pap has created nothing more than a new plantation for millions of Americans. Join the party of Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King. Honor God, family, country. Stop producing/aborting unwanted babies. Get married instead and be a family. Examine all sides of history; you might be surprised. Stay in school. Enjoy the freedom of being your own boss beholden to no one.
God gave every single person unique gifts and talents. The government, on the other hand, pretends to “nurture” everyone if only they will sell their souls and votes to the government. Of course, it’s easier not to have responsibilities and let someone else take care of everything in your life cradle to grave. But, this breeds weakness and distrust. It saps the core of your being. Republicans aren’t perfect, but they offer so much more to the individual than modern day Democrat slaveholders. Join us.
